Coaching is different to therapy in that instead of focusing on healing, there is a larger focus on practical advice and goal setting. We use Coaching when;
• you are feeling overwhelmed
• are unsure of what to do next
• if you are feeling lost
• if you are feeling frightened about a change that is happening
• if there is something you have always wanted to do but something has stopped you
• feeling unmotivated
• feeling that your life is hard.
There are counselling techniques that are used in Coaching for example: CBT could be used if we find that maybe negative thoughts are blocking your way. We will help to change these.
*Please note that the list above may or may not be indicative of something that would need therapy not coaching. You will be advised of the assessors’ recommendations before a contract is offered.
